The Key to Smooth Implementation of a Swagelok Custom Solution

After decades of delivering custom fluid system solutions, we've found that being onsite during commissioning guarantees seamless integration of an assembly into the customer's facility.

We have refined our process to deliver a solution that perfectly matches your needs, whether you require a large number of identical engineered-to-order assemblies or just a simple bend in a piece of tubing. Our comprehensive Custom Solutions service includes consultation, design support, skilled fabrication and assembly; and thorough pressure testing.

We also dedicate time to being on-site during commissioning. This step is included to ensure our team of experts is available to address any questions or concerns from installers, operators, maintenance crews, and other team members.

Example: Grab Sampling Systems

We offer standardized designs for grab sampling assemblies. Built for safe, efficient sample capture, each is available in a wide variety of configurations, with or without advanced features.

We consulate on your design, fabricate, and test your module right here in our Edmonton shop. It arrives documented, ready to install, and Swagelok Edmonton builds in time to be onsite during commissioning.

When we get to the stage of testing an assembly before it leaves our shop, says Swagelok Edmonton's James Dickie, "we remind our customer that on-site support is included during installation. This can range from placement and installation recommendations, operating instruction, training, and maintenance procedures."

Custom solutions process

To begin, simply share your idea with us, whether it's a quick sketch on a napkin or detailed CAD designs. We can start from scratch or pick up from any stage. Our specialists listen attentively to fully grasp your requirements, including your deadlines, budget constraints, space limitations, and regulatory compliance needs.

Next, we invite you to review our drawings. We can work with your existing files or create new sales drawings or CAD drawings (2D/3D) with detailed technical quotations. We value your feedback and are happy to iterate until we achieve the perfect design.

Once we have all the necessary components on hand, we fabricate and assemble everything in our Edmonton shop. Prior to leaving our facility, each assembly undergoes pressure testing.

Finally, by being present during commissioning, we can promptly address any potential issues or concerns, making necessary adjustments and fine-tuning to ensure the seamless operation of your custom solution.
