When equipment gets icy and you can't afford to shut down, a Swagelok Steam Lance is key. It comes pre-tested and ready to use.
Swagelok Edmonton steam lance assembles incorporate insulated tubing, heat-shrink boots, and a steam-rated ball valve. Connect it to your steam line and:
Clear plugged pipes
De-ice structures
Unfreeze drain valves without a hassle
Works on tubing, containment vessels, and more
Prevent asphalt, heavy oils, and plastics from solidifying
For added convenience, Swagelok Edmonton offers enhancements. Here are three examples:
Insulation
We add a 12-inch insulated tube before the valve for a better grip and to insulate the valve for safety.
Handles
Add a handle on the opposite side of the valve for easier operation, especially in cold weather with thick gloves.
Length
We've made steam lances as long as 22 feet, but the jacketed tubing is available in even longer runs.

Pressure testing is standard. Helium, hydrostatic, pressure decay, and nitrogen testing is available. You receive test results, CAD, P&ID, Bill of Materials, and warranty.
